Self Exclusion

Self-exclusion (access ban)

Blue Connectivity B.V., operator of discreethookups.co.uk, applies a protection plan to inform and safeguard consumers who may not fully understand the nature of our service. The service is a paid chat service with entertainment profiles; arranging real-life meetings is not the aim. Within this framework we offer a voluntary self-exclusion (access ban).

1. Signals and proactive notice

Using automated signals (for example, unusual spending patterns), we may alert a User to the nature of the service and the option to request self-exclusion. These signals never trigger an automatic ban; they are solely intended to provide extra information and a choice.

2. Request by the User

You may request self-exclusion at any time via the support form. We will ask for sufficient details to verify your identity (for example the registered email address and, if needed, additional verification) so that we can correctly apply the ban.

3. Third-party concerns

Third parties (for example a partner, family member or support organisation) may submit a concern via the support form. We do not share customer data with the notifier. Based on the concern, we will contact the User with information about the service and the option of voluntary self-exclusion. A ban is generally implemented only at the User’s request, unless law, regulation or our terms require action in cases of abuse or fraud.

4. Effect of a self-exclusion

Once granted, we will take reasonable steps to block access to the website and related functions. This includes blocking the known email address and, where technically feasible, the IP address. We may implement additional technical measures to prevent circumvention. We cannot guarantee that every new or masked identifier (for example a new email address, VPN or dynamic IP) will always be recognised, but we take reasonable measures to uphold the ban.

Self-exclusion is not the same as account deletion and does not entitle you to refunds for used or expired credits. You can request account deletion separately in accordance with our terms.

5. Duration and irreversibility

A self-exclusion lasts for 12 months and cannot be lifted during that period. It expires automatically afterwards. You may request an extension if you wish.

6. Data protection

To implement self-exclusion we process only what is necessary (for example email address, IP data, relevant logs and ban status). Legal bases: legitimate interests (service integrity, misuse prevention and honouring voluntary self-exclusion) and, where applicable, your request/consent. We retain self-exclusion data for the ban period and thereafter only as needed to prevent circumvention or comply with legal obligations. See our privacy policy for details.

7. Contact

Questions or a request to self-exclude? Please use the support form. We will confirm by email once the ban has been applied.
